The Bachelor of Commerce is a first-cycle Egyptian national diploma in higher education. Obtaining this Bachelor's degree allows for further university studies towards a Master's degree or entry into professional life. This diploma is obtained at the end of the fourth year of study at the DGCI, subject to obtaining a passing grade. This Egyptian diploma allows for continuation of studies in a Master's program at Ain Shams, on an equal footing with any Bachelor's degree in Commerce obtained in the Arabic or Credit hours program. 70% of the courses are taught in French, while approximately 30% are taught in English. All courses are taught at DGCI, either by French professors on mission, by French professors residing in Cairo, or by Francophone Egyptian professors. French language courses are also provided to prepare students for using the French language in their courses. Most students enter DGCI with a DELF B2 level and leave with a DALF C1 level. English courses are taught by professors from the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University.
