Founded in 1431, the University of Poitiers is one of the oldest universities in France and trains more than 30,000 students each year and employs more than 2,000 people to carry out its missions. Innovative and open to the world, it brings together all teaching disciplines in its 14 faculties, institutes and schools. With 47 research laboratories and 8 doctoral schools, it develops high-level research recognized internationally.

The IAE of Poitiers

The Institute of Business Administration (IAE) of Poitiers is the Management School (Business School) of the University of Poitiers. He has been part of IAE France since the beginning, the first French management training network, bringing together 36 IAE throughout France. It is one of the most popular IAE in France according to the SMBG ranking and the French weekly economic magazine Challenges.

The IAE manages three sites (Poitiers, Niort and Angoulême), and also operates in Paris and abroad. It is the most important Higher Education Institution of Management in the Great West of France. Thanks to the work of 50 permanent teachers and 250 professional speakers, it trains more than 2,200 students or employees of companies each year distributed in 20 university courses

The French Institute of Egypt

The French Institute of Egypt is the heir to the great tradition of cooperation between Egypt and France and a major player in the bonds of friendship between the French and Egyptian peoples. Its action is part of the framework of the cultural, technical and scientific cooperation agreement of 1968.

The French Institute of Egypt is thus a service of the French Embassy in Egypt.

Its missions are :

contribute to the promotion of French culture, language and expertise in Egypt

strengthen cooperation between Egypt and France in all fields.

The DGCI is a member of the Francophone University Cluster (PUF). Led by the French Institute in Egypt, it brings together all the actors of French-speaking higher education. The PUF aims to contribute to their influence, improve their efficiency and strengthen cooperation with Egyptian partners.

The activity of the French-speaking University Cluster contributes to strengthening the links between the DGCI and the other branches of the PUF (Law and Political Science branches of the University of Cairo, French University in Egypt,...). It inserts DGCI students into a particularly active Francophone network, which will follow them throughout their professional life.
